My Services

Individual counseling is a rare opportunity to carve out time, from your busy life, to focus on YOURSELF.

Individual therapy allows you to take a more intentional look at what is working well in your life, what are the areas of growth or sticking points, and how to take the endless thoughts/worries/analysis going on inside your mind, and carefully look at what actually needs your examination and attention.

Psychologist's Office

Our practice offers highly specialized services in the field of Reproductive Mental Health.  Shubha Swamy, LPC is highly trained in matters pertaining to an individual or couple's experience going through infertility and perinatal loss.  It has often been quoted that receiving a diagnosis of infertility has a similar impact to receiving a cancer diagnosis.

Infertility is much more than a biological issue.  It is deeply personal and can impact how one see's themselves, how they feel about their manhood/womanhood, it can be traumatizing, there is the experience of compounded loss, and it can impact how people relate to the their peers, their family members and how they make future plans.

Novo offer clinical support to those individuals going through the journey of trying to conceive, as well as, specialized consultation services that are required when an individual or couple is using a third party in order to grow their family.

We are highly trained in the areas of mood disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustments to significant life changes.  Our providers use a combination of approaches and skills to help people transform how they are living with their anxiety and depression.   The most studied and recommended therapeutic strategy is cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression treatment and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) are complex and require treatment from a professional who has gone through advanced training.  Shubha Swamy has completed the gold standard, two-day Postpartum Support International certificate training, in addition to hours of advanced PMADs trainings.  PMADs effect 1 in 7 women and is highly treatable when folks seek out help
